French Toast Casserole

Ingredients:

| 1 | loaf of french, sourdough, or challah bread |
| 8 oz | cream cheese (softened) |
| 6 tbsp | powedered sugar |
| 3 tsp | vanilla extract (divided) |
| 8 | eggs |
| 2 1/4 cups | whole milk |
| 1.5 tsp | ground cinnamon (divided) |
| 1 cup | light brown sugar (divided 1/3 & 2/3) |
| 1/3 cup | all purpose flour |
| 6 tablespoons | butter (cold + cubed) |
Recipe:
- Grease a 9x13 pan.
- Slice bread into cubes (1 inch).
- Spread cubes into baking pan until ~ 1/2 full.
- Beat creamcheese until smooth, add powdered sugar and vanilla until combined.
- Drop random spoonfuls throughout bread into pan.
- Finish filling pan with bread cubes.
- Whisk : eggs, milk, cinnamon, 2/3 cup brown sugar, remaining vanilla untill smooth.
- Pour mixture over bread. Store covered in refridgerator overnight. Next Morning
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Remove pan from refridgerator.
- Whisk: 1/3 cup brown sugar, flour, cinnamon in a bowl.
- Cut in cold cubed butter.
- Sprinkle over your pan of soaked bread.
- Bake 45-55 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fruit topping.
